Victoria Distillers, British Columbia's original artisan distillery, was creating a new line of ready-to-drink cocktails. These premium cocktails combine botanicals infused with gin and natural flavors and have low sugar and calories. The strategy was to tell a local story starting with the name “the straits & narrows” of the intercostal region, and feature custom illustrations of the adventurous outdoor lifestyle on Vancouver Island.

Five Years of Growth

The Strait & Narrow launched their cocktails with three gin SKUs in April 2020. Our insights and design were on-point, and these convenient cocktails became a popular companion to the consumer’s outdoor pursuits. We have helped expand the brand by designing nine additional SKUs across gin, vodka, and a new tea cocktail line. The brand has also grown its retail presence throughout Canada.
